This position offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders while influencing how external partnerships are structured and managed at scale. It is ideal for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a dynamic, technology-driven healthcare environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex vendor agreements, including healthcare-specific contracts such as pharmacy benefit management and utilization management arrangements.
  • Manage a broad portfolio of commercial contracts, including software licenses, master service agreements, NDAs, and BAAs supporting core business operations.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to procurement and internal stakeholders, providing practical legal guidance and risk-based decision-making support.
  • Act as a primary legal resource for contract-related questions, ensuring consistency, clarity, and compliance across contracting processes.
  • Improve and optimize vendor contracting workflows, including the development of templates, standards, and contract management systems.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions, including AI-enabled tools, to enhance contracting efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, corporate, and regulatory requirements across all vendor agreements.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with 10+ years of experience as a contract attorney, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong background in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting complex commercial and healthcare-related agreements.
  • Solid understanding of corporate law, vendor management frameworks, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with contract management systems and improving legal operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted business partner in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives while maintaining practical, actionable guidance.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with a range aligned to experience and qualifications
  • Annual performance-based bonus and equity grant eligibility
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Unlimited PTO program, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer participation
  • Life and disability insurance coverage
  • Wellness benefits, reimbursements, and employee support programs
  • Remote-first work flexibility with potential future hybrid options depending on location
