The Technician, Utility Mappingis responsible foraccuratelylocatingand marking underground gas utilities to support safe excavation and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves traveling to multiple sites daily, performing preciselocates, andmaintainingthorough documentation while adhering to safety protocols.

What you will do:

• Accuratelylocateand mark underground gas utilitiesin accordance withlocal 811 laws and CFR 192 standards.

• Navigate to multiple job sites daily and manage tickets using Ticket Management Systems.

• Documentlocateswith required photos andmaintaindetailed records.

• Exercise Stop Work Responsibility when unsafe conditions areidentified.

• Communicate clearly andeffectivelywith contractors, customers, and team members.

• Follow damage prevention protocols and operator qualification requirements.

• Positions selfto access tools and materials in various locations.

• Traverses job sites having uneven terrain, slopes, confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.

• Moves materials weighing up to 75 pounds periodically.

• Conducts visual assessments of task quality and job site safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

• Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelorsdegree preferred).

• Experience:

• 13 years of experience in utilitylocating, natural gas distribution, or related field.

• Familiarity withconstruction, excavation,andsite safety.

• Familiarity with natural gas systems and related regulations (CFR 192)preferred.

• Licenses/Certifications:

• Possession of a valid drivers license with acleandriving record and the ability tooperatea motor vehicleisrequired.

• Software:

• Proficiencyin computer-based technology and ability to learn new systems/software related to the role.

• Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive,etc).

• Working Conditions/Schedule/Location:

• Primarily field-based role must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Must be able to work onsite at a WSB office, as needed, as required by the project, client, or hiring manager.

• Reliable transportation required and the ability to travel daily within assigned territory.

• Travel may berequired.
