This role is a client-facing, high-impact consulting position focused on helping enterprise clients unlock measurable value from advanced marketing automation solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex business goals into scalable platform architectures and optimized campaign strategies. The position sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, systems integration, and technical implementation, requiring both deep platform expertise and strong consulting skills. You will work closely with marketing teams, technical stakeholders, and executive leaders to design and refine end-to-end Marketo solutions. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and centered on delivering tangible business outcomes through data-driven marketing transformation. Accountabilities:

You will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor, guiding clients in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting advanced marketing automation solutions.

  • Act as a trusted expert in Adobe Marketo Engage, providing best practices across architecture, automation, integrations, and governance.
  • Translate client business requirements into scalable solution designs, ensuring alignment with KPIs, campaign strategy, and system constraints.
  • Evaluate and optimize Smart Campaign logic, automation workflows, and marketing operations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Design and review integrations between Adobe Marketo Engage and CRM/data platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, and Oracle.
  • Troubleshoot advanced platform issues including data sync delays, campaign recursion, API limits, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide guidance on data modeling, custom objects, APIs, webhooks, and integration architecture across marketing ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver documentation, presentations, and solution recommendations for clients.
  • Continuously monitor platform usage and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, governance, and adoption.
Requirements:

You bring deep technical expertise in marketing automation platforms combined with strong consulting and communication skills.

  • 7+ years of experience in client-facing consulting, marketing automation, or technical solution architecture roles.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Adobe Marketo Engage, including automation, integrations, data design, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, B2B campaign structures, and lead lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns such as REST-based services and system synchronization.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-oriented recommendations.
  • Experience working with CRM and enterprise systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze system behavior, identify root causes, and propose scalable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with modern workflow tools such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-client consulting environments with strong ownership and prioritization skills.
