We are seeking a motivated individual to join us as an Associate Documentation Specialist - Small Ticket. The Associate Documentation Specialist will have experience working in a commercial finance and leasing setting and possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The person in this position will join the Contracts and Documentation team supporting our Small Ticket group which is an integral part of Dext operations team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate preparation of equipment loan/lease packages in compliance with policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines and investor standards by gathering and reviewing necessary documents and information within designated timeframes
  • Communicate with staff, customers, sources, legal counsel and others to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain additional documents needed to complete the file.
  • Coordinate closing and funding of assigned transaction packages, calculating final closing costs and disbursing funds.
  • Daily Cash posting, contract adjustment and account reconciliation work.

Experience Requirements:

  • General knowledge of legal documents used to support commercial leases/loans
  • Ability to work with legal staff to solve documentation needs
  • Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction
  • Ability to master various software used in preparation of documents and funding packages
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills
