Job summary:
The Assistant Store Manager will assist with launching and maintaining the ongoing success of our new Dallas boutique. This role is ideal for a strong retail leader that has a deep understanding of the local landscape. The Assistant Store Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for leading and supporting the store team to meet and exceed all sales and operational goals and ensure all KPIs are achieved. This individual is fiercely client and brand-centric and acts as a passionate brand ambassador, responsible for promoting L'AGENCE with clients, partners, and within the local community. The Assistant Store Manager acts as a key representative in the daily business operations of the store and supports all store initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Be an ambassador for the brand and actively promote the culture of L'AGENCE internally and externally.
- Drive financial success through a strong understanding of Retail KPIs and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
- Ensure floor coverage, financial targets, visual merchandising standards, client service, and operational functions (both front and back of house) are planned for and achieved to meet business needs.
- Partner internally with the Store Manager (where applicable) and with cross-functional teams, including Stores within network, Operations, Visual Team, CRM, Retail Training, HR, Merchandise teams, and regional management, to maintain and accelerate the business forward.
- Create and/or support the execution of business plans to accelerate the business forward and remedy opportunities.
- Ensure the store atmosphere consistently upholds the image of the brand.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment with teams and throughout the store network, including cross-functional partners.
Client
- CRM: Ensure the acquisition and retention of clients are key focuses, and as such, create and cultivate client relationships for the store and brand overall.
- Ensure that you and your teams deliver the best possible client experience with every type of engagement (in-store, virtual, alternate mediums) throughout the client journey.
- Take a solution-oriented approach to finding resolutions to customer service issues.
- Manage the Client Consignment business, ensuring a quick turnaround, strong take rate, and timely return of merchandise.
Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel is required.
- Experience with inventory and accounting systems.
- Solid communication skills, including the ability to work well in a team environment or independently when tasked.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Exceptional clienteling and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to visual merchandising and operational detail.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to reach overhead.
- Must be able to pick up 30-50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb a ladder or step stool.
