Accountabilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, ensuring external communications and engagement activities align with organizational priorities and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive visibility and engagement strategies that strengthen executive presence across key global audiences and stakeholder groups.
  • Identify, secure, and manage high-profile speaking engagements, media opportunities, industry events, and strategic partnerships that enhance leadership influence and organizational impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, policymakers, industry leaders, advocacy groups, and other external stakeholders.
  • Create compelling executive communications, including briefing materials, speeches, talking points, presentations, and messaging frameworks that ensure consistency and authenticity.
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives that position senior leadership as influential voices in sustainability, climate action, social responsibility, and related global issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop executive social media strategies and content that engage audiences and contribute to broader communication objectives.
  • Monitor emerging trends, policy developments, and public discourse to identify opportunities for timely engagement and strategic positioning.
  • Coordinate and oversee executive participation in events, conferences, media appearances, and stakeholder meetings to maximize visibility and impact.
  • Ensure alignment between internal communications, public relations efforts, and external engagement activities to reinforce organizational messaging and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public relations, executive communications, corporate affairs, external engagement, or a related strategic communications role.
  • Proven experience advising senior executives and supporting leadership teams in high-visibility public-facing positions.
  • Demonstrated success securing media coverage, speaking engagements, strategic partnerships, and other high-impact visibility opportunities.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, editing, and content development skills with the ability to craft persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, social media strategy, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
  • Ability to connect organizational priorities with broader societal, political, and industry conversations in a meaningful and credible way.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and sensitivity when engaging with global audiences and partners.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong judgment, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
