Position Summary:

MM Solutions is looking for Crew Members to join our Custom Packaging team. In this role, you'll build custom pallets, crates, and protective packaging solutions used to safely transport high-value equipment for customers in aerospace, defense, technology, and other advanced industries.
You'll work from drawings and specifications to construct custom wood packaging using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys woodworking, construction, manufacturing, or hands-on production work and wants to develop specialized skills in a growing industry.
Previous woodworking, construction, manufacturing, or assembly experience is preferred. We are willing to train motivated individuals who have strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn.

Requirements:Essential Job Function:
- Build custom pallets, crates, and wall sets from engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood packaging components using hand tools, air tools, saws, and shop equipment.
- Interpret basic drawings and work instructions to ensure products meet customer requirements.
- Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and workmanship throughout the assembly process.
- Safely operate shop tools and equipment while following all company safety procedures.
- Become certified to operate forklifts and safely move materials as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and working order.
- Assist with shop improvement initiatives and general facility upkeep.
- Cross-train and support other departments as business needs require.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in woodworking, carpentry, construction, manufacturing, packaging, or a related hands-on trade.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and shop equipment.
- Experience reading blueprints, drawings, or work instructions.
Required Skills
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to perform basic math, including adding and subtracting fractions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Education and Experience preferred:
- High School Diploma.

- Ability to lift to waist and carry >75lbs: 75%-100%
