Prescriber Relations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Prescriber Relations Manager based in the United States.

This role is centered on building trusted, long-term relationships with healthcare prescribers to ensure seamless patient access to specialty treatments for rare and complex diseases.
You will act as a key field-based liaison between prescriber offices and internal care teams, helping streamline referral processes and improve the quality of patient intake information.
The position blends healthcare relationship management, education, and operational support in a highly patient-centric environment.
You will regularly engage with clinical offices through on-site visits, virtual meetings, and ongoing communication to strengthen collaboration and trust.
The role plays a direct part in improving patient outcomes by reducing friction in access to therapy and supporting timely treatment initiation.
It is a mission-driven environment focused on rare disease care, where empathy, responsiveness, and accuracy are critical.
This is a highly impactful position where your work directly supports patients navigating complex healthcare journeys.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with assigned prescriber offices through regular in-person visits, virtual engagement, and ongoing communication.
  • Educate prescribers and office staff on referral pathways, eligibility requirements, and program processes to support timely and accurate patient access.
  • Provide hands-on support and training to improve referral completeness and reduce administrative barriers that delay patient starts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prescriber inquiries and escalations, coordinating resolution with internal patient support and clinical teams.
  • Document interactions and updates in CRM systems to ensure continuity, transparency, and effective follow-up across all accounts.
  • Identify prescriber needs, operational challenges, and access barriers, escalating insights to leadership to improve processes and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in territory travel and industry meetings to strengthen relationships and support ongoing engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, prescriber relations, patient engagement, care coordination, or similar healthcare-focused roles.
  • Proven experience working directly with prescribers or clinical care teams in a non-sales, service-oriented capacity.
  • Strong understanding of patient-centered care models and healthcare delivery workflows.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively across clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate field insights into actionable recommendations that improve processes and patient experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within an assigned territory.
  • Preferred: Experience in value-based care, patient support programs, or population health environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Veeva) and care coordination or patient engagement platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience working in regulated healthcare environments with cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $85,000 – $105,000 USD, based on experience and location
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions
  • Employer-paid life insurance and short/long-term disability coverage
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and professional support
  • Hybrid, remote, and flexible on-site work arrangements depending on role requirements
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to improving outcomes for patients with rare and complex diseases
