This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the enterprise architecture vision that underpins large-scale digital transformation across a complex global organization. The position shapes long-term technology strategy and ensures alignment between business goals, regulatory requirements, and modern architecture principles. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the role influences decisions across cloud, data, security, integration, and application domains. It plays a critical part in enabling scalable, secure, and cost-efficient technology ecosystems. The environment is highly collaborative, involving close partnership with infrastructure, cybersecurity, product, and engineering leaders. This is a strategic, high-impact role suited for a seasoned architecture leader who thrives in complex enterprise settings and global operating models.
In this role, you will define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and investment plans. You will establish architectural principles, standards, and governance frameworks that guide technology decisions across the organization.
- Lead enterprise architecture strategy, reference architectures, and long-term technology roadmaps across cloud, data, integration, security, and applications.
- Translate business strategy into scalable and future-ready technology architectures.
- Define and maintain architecture standards, guardrails, patterns, and governance models.
- Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) activities, ensuring design compliance and architectural integrity.
- Oversee enterprise-wide integration, interoperability, and platform coherence across systems and domains.
- Drive modernization initiatives, reduce technical debt, and improve architectural consistency and resilience.
- Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure secure-by-design and compliant architectures.
- Advise senior leadership on technology investments, risks, and transformation initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the enterprise architecture organization, fostering excellence and collaboration.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in enterprise architecture leadership within large, complex, and global environments, with a strong ability to translate strategy into scalable technical solutions. You should combine deep architectural expertise with strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or related senior architecture/technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading enterprise architecture teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and governance models.
- Expertise across cloud, infrastructure, data, integration, cybersecurity, and application architecture domains.
- Experience defining and enforcing architecture standards, principles, and design guardrails.
- Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns (APIs, microservices, cloud-native, event-driven systems).
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation and modernization programs.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in regulated or highly governed industries (e.g., healthcare, life sciences) is a plus.
