Job Description

Residential Service Plumber
Early Bird Plumbing | Sacramento, CA

Ready for your fair share?
Tired of missing family dinners, getting late night calls, and spending your weekends on emergency services?
We get it. You work hard, you've spent years mastering your trade, and you deserve a career that rewards your expertise without taking over your life.
At Early Bird Plumbing, we believe great plumbers deserve great pay, great equipment, and a life outside of work.
We're a locally owned, family-operated plumbing company serving the Greater Sacramento Area, and we're looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber who takes pride in their craftsmanship, treats customers like neighbors, and wants to be part of something special.
Earning potential: Up to $200,000 annually, based on performance.
Our regular service hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
Prefer Tuesday through Saturday? Let's talk!

Why You'll Love Being an Early Bird
  • No late-night calls, no on-call rotations, and no emergency weekend service.
  • Uncapped performance-based incentives.
  • Paid time off that grows with you.
  • Employer-sponsored health benefits.
  • 401(k) opportunity.
  • A well-equipped Ram ProMaster service van.
  • Ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • A voice that matters.
  • Costco Membership.
  • Monthly Housecleaning.
  • Snacks.
And perhaps most importantly?
You're a person here, not a production number.

Job Description
You'll provide residential plumbing diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance throughout the Greater Sacramento Area, including:
  • Water heaters and tankless water heaters
  • Toilets, faucets, fixtures, and plumbing repairs
  • Water filtration and treatment systems
  • Drain cleaning and sewer services
  • Water and gas line repairs and installations
  • Whole-home repipes and plumbing inspections
But here's what matters just as much as your technical skills:
You'll educate homeowners, explain their options clearly, and help them make confident decisions about their homes.

Are You Our Kind of Plumber?
Let's start with the essentials:
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience
  • 3+ years independently operating a residential plumbing service truck or van
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
  • Reliability, accountability, and pride in your craftsmanship

Now for the most important question: Do grandmothers adore you?
Can you make a nervous homeowner feel comfortable? Do you show up when you say you will? Are you the kind of person who takes ownership of a problem?
Are you coachable, curious, and always looking for ways to improve?
Do you believe that part of being an excellent plumber means being an awesome person, too?
If you're nodding your head, we should probably meet.

A Little About Our Flock
Early Bird Plumbing has roots in Sacramento dating back to 2005.
We've spent decades working in the plumbing trade. We know what it's like to be the guy in the van, solving problems, working long hours, and carrying the responsibility that comes with taking care of customers.
Today, we're building the kind of plumbing company we believe the industry needs more of.
One where craftsmanship matters. Where customers are treated with respect. Where employees have the opportunity to earn an exceptional living and still have time for themselves and their families.
We're growing intentionally, and we're looking for the right people to grow with us.
Ready to Join the Flock?
If you're an experienced residential service plumber looking for a career with strong earning potential, a supportive team, and a company that genuinely values your time, we'd love to meet you.
Apply today and help us give plumbing problems the bird!
