This role offers the opportunity to support large-scale federal IT operations by ensuring engineering requests are accurately reviewed, coordinated, and delivered successfully.
You will serve as a critical connection point between technical teams, operational stakeholders, and requestors within a complex enterprise environment.
The position focuses on improving endpoint engineering processes, strengthening documentation standards, and enabling secure technology delivery.
You will manage the complete intake lifecycle, from requirements validation through implementation and closeout.

As Sr. Intake & Integration Engineer, you will own the engineering intake process and ensure technical requests are complete, compliant, and ready for execution. You will coordinate across multiple teams to validate requirements, support endpoint engineering initiatives, and improve operational workflows within a large-scale IT environment.
- Serve as the primary owner of the endpoint engineering intake process, managing requests from submission through completion.
- Review and validate engineering requests related to application packaging, hardware, drivers, configuration policies, Group Policy, browsers, and baseline requirements.
- Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure submissions meet established standards before engineering work begins.
- Work with requestors to clarify incomplete requirements, resolve documentation gaps, and align requests with enterprise standards.
- Validate technical requests against security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Manage the full workflow lifecycle, including intake, development coordination, implementation, testing, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate with engineering leadership to prioritize requests based on mission needs, resource availability, and operational impact.
- Maintain technical documentation, requirements documentation, implementation plans, compatibility test cases, and supporting artifacts.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, application, and operations teams to implement enterprise engineering solutions.
- Support application packaging, deployment, testing, integration, and configuration activities.
- Participate in technical design discussions, Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, change management, and implementation planning.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries highlighting workflow progress, risks, bottlenecks, and performance metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on endpoint engineering efficiency, deployment processes, and automation.
- Coordinate software upgrades, integrations, and deployment activities across customer environments.
- Act as a technical liaison between agency stakeholders and engineering resources.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering professional with strong endpoint management knowledge, technical documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate complex IT initiatives. You should be comfortable working in structured enterprise environments while managing multiple priorities and collaborating with diverse technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field with 5 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Experience managing end-to-end engineering intake processes, including requirement validation, documentation review, stakeholder coordination, and request lifecycle management.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical requirements documentation aligned with functional, operational, and compliance needs.
- Proven ability to manage structured engineering workflows and ensure delivery standards are consistently met.
- Experience documenting application installations, operating system configurations, and enterprise endpoint requirements.
- Familiarity with software packaging tools, deployment processes, scripting, and configuration management practices.
- Experience developing and testing Group Policy Objects (GPOs), desktop OS images, and application packages.
- Experience supporting application testing, troubleshooting, deployment validation, and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of information systems analysis, design, integration methodologies, and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
- Understanding of structured analysis and design methodologies for translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or collaborative technical delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engineering initiatives, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting large-scale federal or enterprise IT environments.
- Experience supporting government or healthcare technology programs.
- Familiarity with endpoint security, compliance, and device management practices.
- Experience with deployment automation, scripting, or operational reporting tools.
- Experience supporting cross-functional infrastructure or engineering initiatives.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, MD-102 Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate, Jamf certifications, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent credentials.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required public trust clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $117,000–$133,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
