About the Role:

As a Junior Process Engineer in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, optimization, and implementation of efficient production processes. Your primary focus will be to analyze current manufacturing workflows, identify areas for improvement, and assist in developing solutions that enhance product quality and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure seamless process integration and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
  • Experience with process simulation software or CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Support process validation and troubleshooting activities to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing capabilities and reducing waste.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to process engineering.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
