Outpatient Program Coordinator - Denver

Reports to: Clinical Director Outpatient Programs

Job Category: Hourly | Non-Exempt | Full-Time

Salary Range: $22-$26.50/hour

Job Site: Foundry - Denver office

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 11am-7:30pm, Fri 8:30am-4:30pm

Job Summary:

The Outpatient Program Coordinator partners with a multidisciplinary team to help manage and support various systems and processes that are instrumental in providing a safe and therapeutic environment. This role supports Leadership by fulfilling various administrative duties and functions and helping implement programmatic changes. This position also provides daily support, guidance, and care for clients and helps maintain the safety of those in treatment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CAT certification required.
  • DORA-registered required.
  • 1+ years proven experience with people and program management in clinical settings.
  • 1+ years experience in an addictions and/or behavioral healthcare setting, residential treatment experience preferred.
  • 1+ years proven experience in a program coordinator or administrative assistant position preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance and billing preferred.
  • Experience with accounting/financial systems.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Group facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of “best practices” and evidence based behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies.
  • Familiar with the 12-Step Program and the 12 Steps/12 Traditions.
  • State and federal licensure regulation knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to listen well and offer solutions.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to think creatively and share ideas.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must enjoy working with data and systems.
  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
  • Adept at quickly learning new systems and platforms.
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the orientation process of incoming clients.
  • Assist with IOP assessments (e.g., Biopsychosocial, Intakes).
  • Facilitate groups.
  • Complete DACODS.
  • Support in the collection and handling of lab specimens following established standards and procedures.
  • Help implement program changes.
  • Collect and analyze program evaluation and client feedback; compile program evaluation results and metrics.
  • Answer phones and relay messages to the appropriate department.
  • Administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide consistent and efficient direct operational support to the Clinical Director and team.
  • Assist with procurement, budgeting, and financial duties.
  • Coordinate on- and off-site events (e.g., tours, lectures, etc.).
  • Event and meeting management duties as assigned.
  • Monitor quality assurance in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, making suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, HIPAA, and 42CFR Part 2 compliance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, typing, speaking, hearing, seeing.
  • Exposure to a clinical and medical environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Driving in all weather conditions.
