Senior Salesforce Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to manage and enhance a Salesforce ecosystem supporting multiple business functions within a global organization.
You will play a key role in optimizing platform performance, improving business processes, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions.
The position combines hands-on administration, process innovation, and collaboration with technical teams to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
You will work closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into secure, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.
The successful candidate will help drive operational excellence through automation, governance, data quality, and platform best practices.

Accountabilities:

The role focuses on managing, optimizing, and expanding Salesforce capabilities while ensuring platform stability, security, and alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring platform reliability, data integrity, and appropriate security controls.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and access configurations.
  • Design and optimize declarative automation solutions, including Flows, Approval Processes, and Validation Rules.
  • Support Salesforce initiatives across Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and Service functions through configuration and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage data operations, including imports, cleansing, deduplication, and ongoing data quality monitoring.
  • Support testing, deployment, release management, and change management activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational runbooks.
  • Deliver user training and promote Salesforce best practices across business teams.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend platform improvements.
  • Support integrations, governance processes, and enterprise application initiatives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive Salesforce administration experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and/or Billing.
  • Advanced Salesforce configuration expertise, including Flows, Reports, Dashboards, Page Layouts, Record Types, and Permission Sets.
  • Proven ability to manage complex data environments and Salesforce security models.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or sprint-based delivery environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert business needs into practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Required Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Certified Administrator and Advanced Administrator.
  • Experience supporting quote-to-cash, billing, or financial process automation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud, integrations, MuleSoft, Boomi, REST APIs, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data governance, release management, and change management practices.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams across different time zones is preferred.
