Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.


Role Overview

Performs skilled shipping and receiving activities while independently managing assigned responsibilities related to inventory tracking, shipment coordination, material handling, and production support. Applies knowledge of shipping processes, documentation requirements, and inventory practices to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do...

  • Independently manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including packing, labeling, tracking, and shipment coordination
  • Coordinate shipments through carriers such as UPS, freight providers, and other logistics partners
  • Maintain accurate tracking of parts, inventory, drawings, and shipment documentation
  • Perform receiving inspections and verify materials against purchase orders and documentation
  • Stage materials and jobs to support production schedules and operational requirements
  • Conduct final visual inspections during packing and identify potential quality concerns
  • Maintain organized shipping areas, inventory locations, and shipping supplies
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, cutters, and other required equipment safely
  • Support weekly inventory activities and assist with inventory accuracy improvements
  • Review work orders and documentation to verify shipment and receiving requirements
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and company systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, organization, and efficiency
  • Follow all EHS policies, procedures, and safety requirements

You have...

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1–2 years of related experience
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience coordinating shipments and maintaining inventory records
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and material handling equipment preferred

  • Ability to independently complete assigned shipping and receiving tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and changing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with internal teams and external shipping partners
  • Ability to accurately maintain inventory and shipment records
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
  • Strong teamwork and customer service mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Physical Requirements

  • Remain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3–4 hours per day (1–2 hours at one time)
  • Move about 5–6 hours per day (1–2 hours at one time)
  • Frequently lift or carry objects between 26–45 pounds
  • Frequently push or pull objects between 26–45 pounds
  • Occasionally reach at or below shoulder level and occasionally reach overhead
  • Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, or twist
  • Occasionally crouch, kneel, and squat
  • Occasionally operate heavy machinery
  • Frequently keyboard and perform computer-based tasks
  • Effectively communicate in person and through telephone or electronic communication
