Decisions happen quickly, ideas are encouraged, and every team member has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Over the past several years, we've invested heavily in our brand, digital presence, community relationships, products, and member experience. As we look toward continued growth, we're searching for a marketing and community engagement professional who is excited to help shape what comes next.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a traditional marketing position.
We're looking for someone who can creatively tell eDCU’s story while building meaningful relationships throughout our community. You'll combine creativity, strategy, analytics, communication, and business development to help strengthen our brand, grow membership, support loan growth, and increase awareness of the many ways eDCU serves our members.
One day you may be creating digital content, analyzing campaign results, or developing a launch strategy for a new product. The next day you might be representing eDCU at a community event, coordinating a member communication campaign, building a new partnership, or collaborating with leadership to turn growth opportunities into actionable strategies.
The ideal candidate is equal parts marketer, relationship-builder, communicator, and innovator. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, trying new ideas, and making a visible impact.
This position offers a pay range between $25-$29 per hour depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off (PTO), employee discounts, weekends and Federal holidays off, and bonuses.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that support membership growth, loan growth, product adoption, and organizational objectives.
- Create compelling content across digital, social, print, email, and community channels.
- Help refine and protect the eDCU brand while finding new ways to share our story.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, local organizations, chambers, schools, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Represent eDCU at community events, business functions, and outreach opportunities.
- Support business development efforts that create opportunities for membership and lending growth.
- Analyze campaign performance and market data to make informed recommendations and improve results.
- Help lead communications for new products, services, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate member, community, and team events that strengthen engagement and relationships.
- Collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to support strategic goals and member experience initiatives.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT?
We're less concerned about checking every box and more interested in finding someone with the right blend of talent, curiosity, and drive.
You may be an excellent fit if you have experience with:

- Social media management and digital content creation
- Video creation, photography, or visual storytelling
- Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar creative tools
- Business development, community engagement, or relationship building

- Financial services, credit union, banking, or other highly regulated industries
- Marketing compliance and advertising regulations
Bonus points if you can show us examples of campaigns, content, or projects you're particularly proud of. Portfolio reviews or work presentations may be requested for select candidates.
