This role offers the opportunity to shape and operate the cloud platform supporting critical enterprise applications at scale.
You will architect reliable infrastructure on Google Cloud while establishing strong Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices.
The position combines platform engineering, cloud architecture, CI/CD, application reliability, and developer enablement.

- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems and enterprise applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), while establishing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code standards through Terraform.
- Act as a cloud architecture partner for cross-functional engineering teams supporting critical enterprise applications and services.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that accelerate software delivery, deployment automation, and operational consistency.
- Develop automated deployment processes, upgrade scripts, internal tooling, and developer platforms that improve engineering productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Lead incident management activities, conduct root cause analyses, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability and service reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application and infrastructure performance, including resource rightsizing and capacity management.
- Strengthen cloud infrastructure through automation, security guardrails, monitoring, logging, and reliable operational practices.
- Diagnose complex system-level issues across cloud, containerized, and distributed environments and develop sustainable technical solutions.
- Promote consistent infrastructure, deployment, and platform engineering standards across teams while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI and LLM capabilities, where they can enhance platform engineering, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with public cloud environments, including Kubernetes, VPC, Cloud Run, and enterprise infrastructure management.
- At least 5 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack.
- At least 5 years of experience leading software development lifecycle practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong Linux system administration and internals knowledge, with experience in containerization, autonomous task workflows, and security controls.
- At least 2 years of programming experience with languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging ecosystems such as GCP Monitoring, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, or ELK.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, with experience diagnosing complex infrastructure, application, and system-level problems.
- Preferred experience architecting and deploying AI/LLM solutions using technologies such as Gemini, Vertex AI, or ADK.
- Preferred experience with GCP and multi-cloud environments, as well as application performance optimization across standalone and distributed systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex technical challenges, and continuously improve platform reliability and developer experience.

- Competitive US base salary range of $140,000–$200,800, plus bonus and benefits.
