Personal Lines Insurance Sales Agent – U.S. Market

Location: Remote – Latin America
Work Arrangement: This is a remote/telecommute position.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Industry: Insurance / Property & Casualty / Personal Lines
Compensation: $1,500 – $2,500 USD/month base + performance-based commissions
English Proficiency: Advanced English required (C1/C2 preferred)
Travel: Must have a valid U.S. visa and be able to travel to Houston, Texas for initial training

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Sales Agent to support a growing U.S.-based insurance agency serving customers in the United States.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sales, particularly Auto and Homeowners Insurance, and is confident working directly with U.S. customers in a sales-driven environment.

Candidates who already hold an active Texas General Lines – Property and Casualty license are highly preferred. However, we also welcome experienced insurance professionals who are willing and eligible to complete the appropriate Texas licensing process.

What You’ll Do
  • Sell Personal Lines Property & Casualty insurance to U.S.-based customers
  • Focus primarily on Auto and Homeowners Insurance, along with other personal insurance products as needed
  • Communicate with prospective customers by phone, email, and other digital channels
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Prepare and explain insurance quotes, coverage options, deductibles, and policy details
  • Guide customers through the sales and policy-binding process
  • Consistently follow up with leads and prospective customers
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide a professional sales experience
  • Maintain accurate customer, quote, and sales information in agency systems
  • Meet individual sales, conversion, activity, and production goals
  • Follow applicable insurance regulations, licensing requirements, and agency procedures
  • Complete required Texas insurance licensing requirements if not already appropriately licensed
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of insurance sales experience
  • Strong experience with Personal Lines Insurance
  • Hands-on experience with Auto and/or Homeowners Insurance
  • Proven ability to sell, close, and communicate effectively with customers
  • Strong understanding of insurance concepts including coverage, premiums, deductibles, limits, and policy options
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • Comfortable communicating and selling to U.S.-based customers
  • Strong phone presence and consultative sales skills
  • Results-oriented and comfortable working toward sales targets
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willing and able to obtain the appropriate Texas insurance license, if not already licensed
  • Valid U.S. visa
  • Ability and willingness to travel to Houston, Texas for initial training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Texas General Lines – Property and Casualty license
  • Active Texas Personal Lines Property and Casualty license
  • Current or previous Property & Casualty license from another U.S. state
  • Previous experience selling insurance directly to customers in the United States
  • Experience working with U.S. Personal Lines carriers
  • Strong track record selling Auto and Homeowners Insurance
  • Experience working in a high-volume insurance sales environment
  • Previous experience with a U.S. independent insurance agency or brokerage
  • Previous experience with Goosehead Insurance is a major plus
  • Previous experience living or working professionally in the United States is a plus
Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced insurance salesperson who knows how to build trust, identify customer needs, and close business.

You are comfortable discussing Auto, Homeowners, and other Personal Lines products with U.S. customers and can confidently explain insurance concepts in English.

You may already hold an active Texas P&C license, have previously held a U.S. insurance license, or have strong insurance experience and be prepared to complete the necessary licensing requirements.

Most importantly, you are competitive, accountable, customer-focused, and motivated by sales performance.
