About the Role:
The Executive Vice President of Operations in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the organization across the United States. This role ensures that healthcare delivery and social assistance services are executed efficiently, meeting regulatory standards and organizational goals. The EVP of Operations collaborates closely with other executive leaders to develop strategic initiatives that enhance patient care quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance. They lead large, multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in shaping the operational framework that supports sustainable growth and excellence in service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations or a related industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale healthcare operations with measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex organizational change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration (MBA), or Public Health (MPH).
- Experience working within multi-state healthcare systems or large social assistance organizations.
- Familiarity with advanced healthcare technologies and data analytics platforms.
- Certification in healthcare management or operational excellence (e.g., FACHE, Lean Six Sigma).
- Experience in strategic planning and execution at the executive leadership level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Oversee daily operations across multiple facilities and service lines to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage senior operations managers and department heads to foster a high-performance culture.
