This role is focused on driving pharmaceutical sales performance across a defined territory, ensuring strong market presence and consistent achievement of business targets. You will operate independently in the field, engaging healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to promote assigned products and strengthen brand visibility. The position requires strong execution discipline, as well as the ability to build trusted relationships across doctors, chemists, and distributors. You will play a key role in translating sales strategy into impactful on-ground execution while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with field activity norms. This is a highly dynamic, field-intensive role that blends sales execution, relationship management, and territory ownership. It offers the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador while directly contributing to market expansion and prescription growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving territory-level sales objectives while ensuring effective execution of field strategies and stakeholder engagement:
- Deliver assigned sales targets for the designated geography through consistent field execution and market coverage.
- Conduct independent fieldwork without direct day-to-day supervision while ensuring adherence to call frequency, coverage, and reporting norms.
- Drive prescription generation and market share growth through effective product promotion aligned with business strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing market insights and contributing to territory-level planning.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the organization, ensuring strong product positioning in the market.
- Maintain accurate daily reporting of field activities through designated digital systems.
The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmaceutical sales or a strong interest in field-based healthcare commercial roles, along with strong communication and execution skills:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred; freshers with strong communication and analytical skills may also be considered.
- Prior experience in the same therapy area or with reputed pharmaceutical companies is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence healthcare professionals.
- Good understanding of field sales execution, territory management, and customer relationship building.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a field-based environment.
