At Central Research, Inc. (CRI), we’re helping people navigate their federal student loans with compassion, clarity, and compliance. We're currently seeking Bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representatives who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and ready to make a real impact-all from the comfort of their own home.

This is a remote position, but to qualify, applicants must reside within 75 miles of a CRI deployment facility in Martinez, GA

What You’ll Do

  • Assist student loan borrowers with account inquiries, repayment options, and application processes
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment
  • Provide accurate, professional, and empathetic customer support
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards
  • Meet key performance indicators and quality assurance standards

How Do You Qualify

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, while primarily taking calls from Spanish-speaking customers
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of customer service in a business, non-retail environment or call center experience
  • 6+ months of computer experience in a business setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed):
    1. Not in default on federal student loans
    2. Demonstrated financial responsibility
    3. No felony convictions within the past 7 years
    4. Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility
    5. No non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more

Preferred

  • Prior call center experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree

Technical & Availability Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (No WIFI, wired Ethernet required)
  • Reliable transportation to a CRI facility for pre-employment visits (such as equipment pickup and credentialing) and any additional on-site requirements during employment
  • Must pass an online customer service assessment
  • Must have a quiet, private, and distraction-free home workspace, with no caregiving responsibilities or other interruptions during scheduled work hours
  • Available to work any assigned shift during Contact Center hours: Monday - Friday: 7am – 9pm CST

Classroom and Hands-On-Training: Up to 5–6 weeks, paid, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (remote)

Pay & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $17.75 per hour
  • Health & Welfare Pay: Additional $5.09 hour (up to 40 hrs. Week), which can fully cover employee-only medical, dental, and vision premiums
