This senior leadership role is responsible for driving regional sales performance and expanding investment distribution across a defined territory. The position focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with financial advisors while positioning a broad suite of investment solutions. It plays a key role in shaping sales strategy, accelerating revenue growth, and strengthening market presence in a highly competitive financial services environment. Working closely with internal wholesalers and cross-functional partners, the role ensures consistent execution of sales initiatives and advisor engagement strategies. It requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on field execution, with frequent advisor interaction both virtually and in person. Lead regional sales execution by developing and implementing strategies to grow investment product distribution across financial advisor channels.
- Drive achievement of ambitious sales targets, production goals, and territory growth objectives
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with financial advisors and strategic partners within the assigned region
- Deliver value-added insights, market perspectives, and product expertise to support advisor business development
- Conduct advisor engagements, presentations, and seminars to promote investment solutions
- Collaborate closely with internal wholesalers, coordinators, and cross-functional teams to optimize sales outcomes
- Track, document, and manage all advisor interactions using CRM tools and ensure disciplined territory management
- Share best practices, market intelligence, and sales strategies with internal peers and external partners
This role requires strong experience in investment sales within the financial services industry, with a proven ability to manage advisor relationships and drive revenue growth.
- 5+ years of experience in investment sales or related financial services roles
- Strong understanding of capital markets, mutual funds, ETFs, and managed investment platforms
- Experience working with regulated investment channels (e.g., MFDA, IIROC or equivalent)
- Completion of relevant financial certifications (e.g., IFIC or CSC preferred)
- Demonstrated success in sales planning, territory management, and business development
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- High level of organization, self-motivation, and ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business tools
