Experienced Medical Office Manager

This is a post-acute Cardiology, Nephrology, and Pulmonology established practice.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered clinical workflows. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented leader with a strong background in healthcare operations, staff management, and revenue cycle coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, workflows, and staff performance

  • Supervise clinical support staff (MAs, schedulers, front office)

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and applicable state regulations

  • Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and provider support to optimize productivity

  • Coordinate credentialing, onboarding, and offboarding processes

  • Partner with billing teams to support accurate documentation and timely claims

  • Monitor KPIs, encounter volumes, and operational metrics

  • Serve as a liaison between providers, leadership, and facilities

  • Support EMR operations, troubleshooting, and training

  • Maintain a professional, patient-focused office environment

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Medical Office Manager or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of medical office operations, billing workflows, and compliance

  • Experience managing multi-provider or multi-location practices preferred

  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (experience with multiple platforms a plus)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

Preferred Experience
  • Specialty practices (cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, or post-acute care)

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care operations

  • Credentialing support

  • Metrics-driven management and productivity oversight
