Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support regional accounting and financial activities, including purchasing controls, budgeting, forecasting, fiduciary oversight, and long-range financial planning
- Act as a key resource for client-related matters, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and service satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to analyze financial and operational performance and provide insights that support strategic decision-making
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with operational leaders, frontline employees, administrative staff, and cross-functional departments
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to department managers to promote professional development and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Direct and coordinate recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions in partnership with Human Resources
- Ensure new employee onboarding and training programs are executed consistently and in compliance with organizational standards
- Lead annual budget development and conduct regular reviews of monthly performance and multi-year financial projections
- Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency initiatives that support operational and financial goals
- Support the planning and execution of annual business objectives, initiatives, and performance improvement programs
- Assess operational processes and internal controls, implementing enhancements to improve effectiveness, accuracy, and accountability
- Manage and support special projects as assigned to address business needs and strategic priorities
- Maintain and expand relationships with municipal partners and key stakeholders to support service excellence and future growth opportunities
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred
- Proven management or supervisory experience, preferably in waste, transportation, or service-based industries
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven leadership ability with experience building, developing, and guiding teams
- Valid drivers license required
- Commercial Drivers License and DOT Medical Card preferred but not required

Salary: $120K annually + 40% performance bonus and car allowance
