Nurse Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton Bossier 3 North is looking for a Certified Nurse Assistant for a med-surg-tele floor to join our team on our day shift (0645-1915). The nurse assistant needs to have been a certified nurse aide, is currently a certified nurse aide, or has completed their first level of a nursing program. This is a busy 36- bed unit and needs someone that likes to stay busy while providing care to a variety of different patients. The job duties include taking vital signs, reporting abnormalities to the nurses, assisting patients with bathing, feeding, turning, toileting, patient care, and assisting nurses within their scope of practice. The shift is a 12- hour shift, with an alternating pattern, which includes being off every other Fri-Sat-Sun. A general hospital orientation along with a 1 on 1 specific unit orientation is provided.
