RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage food production operations in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Develop and execute production plans to meet demand while optimizing labor, materials, and equipment
• Oversee inventory control, raw material flow, and coordination with supply chain partners
• Monitor production performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) to track production metrics, inventory levels, and reporting
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and support operational excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams
• Train, coach, and develop production staff on food safety, best operational practices, and equipment use
• Ensure equipment readiness and support minor fabrication or assembly needs as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in food manufacturing or production management
• Minimum 3 years of production planning experience
• Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices
• Mechanical aptitude with food processing or packaging equipment preferred
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
