About This Position
A diagnostic ultrasonographer is a professional that is qualified by credentialing, academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The diagnostic ultrasonographer is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. The diagnostic ultrasonographer is responsible for daily operations of the ultrasound laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, reporting of equipment failures and quality assessment.
Licenses & Certifications:
ARDMS or registry eligible at time of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Experience:
3 months - 1 year of experience preferred
