About the Position
This full-time position will have the responsibility of assisting the Superintendent in providing exceptional golf courses for Grey Oaks’ Members and guests.
As with all positions, the position will continually exemplify and promote the core values, mission, and culture of the Grey Oaks Country Club team.
This position reports to the Superintendent of Golf.
About Grey Oaks Country Club
Considered one of the premier country clubs in Florida, Grey Oaks opened in 1993 and encompasses the Grey Oaks and Estuary communities, along with 54 holes of championship golf. The Club’s facilities include:
- A 63,000-square-foot East Clubhouse
- A 12,000-square-foot golf shop, newly renovated in 2025
- A Golf Performance Center
- A 30,000-square-foot wellness center and sports complex were renovated in 2024
- The Pool Café, a 22,000-square-foot facility with indoor and outdoor dining, overlooking a resort-style pool with a wading entrance, waterfall, and lap lanes.
The Estuary also features a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse with indoor/outdoor dining overlooking the golf course, a pro-golf shop, and men's and women's lockers. This area will undergo a redesign in 2028.

Requirements:Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the long- and short-term planning related to golf course renovations, care & maintenance.
- Lead the team by delegating daily assignments; provide guidance and assistance and ensure work is completed as expected and in a timely manner
- Lead projects relate d to course renovations or repairs
- Assist in the training of new and existing staff in golf course set-up and maintenance, equipment operations, safety procedures and the expectations of the Club
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend corrective action for agronomic problem areas
- Assist in the daily set-up and maintenance of the golf course, including routine golf course maintenance, chemical applications, and equipment operations
- Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly and ensures that we provide a safe workplace for our team.
Education/Experience
- 3- 5+ years’ experience in golf course maintenance, preferably with experience leading teams in that arena
- Have an active Pesticide Applicator License for the state of Florida, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
- An associate or bachelor’s degree strongly desired
- A certificate in Turf Management or related experience is strongly desired.
- Experience working on golf courses at private clubs or at high end resorts strongly desired
