CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME
PAY RANGE: $26/HR
WestGate Church, a non-denominational, multi-congregational church situated in one of the most diverse and influential regions of the world—the Silicon Valley—is seeking an energetic, skilled Next Gen Administrator to support the student ministries and college age ministry across all congregations, helping students get connected into community at WestGate Students and CA for the purpose of their spiritual growth. This full-time role (Sunday-Thursday) may require occasional work on Fridays and Saturday as well as evening hours, providing exceptional ministry-related administrative assistance to the next gen team and parents.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 year minimum of administrative experience.
- Positive, professional, self-starter with the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and projects with minimal direction.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality, handling situations with discretion, diplomacy, and tact.
- Exhibits personal and professional discernment and discretion.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Highly organized with the capability to execute logistics for large-scale projects overseen by the Next GenPastor.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for collaboration and document management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective document creation, data analysis, and presentations.
- Superior communication skills: written and verbal.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general administrative support to the Next Gen team (student ministry pastors/CA director).
- Attend and participate in weekly Next Gen staff meetings and All Staff meetings.
- Assist in coordinating team meetings for student ministries.
- Assist in coordinating student/CA events, camps, retreats, missions trips, etc.
- Help with preparation of weekend student/CA services (signups, check-ins, etc).
- Help with preparation of midweek student/CA groups and events.
- Provide Comms team with necessary information to ensure clear communication with parents about events, vision of the ministry, and resources that will aid them in their parenting.
- Assist in planning parent vision meetings to cast vision for the upcoming events and ministry opportunities.
- Administrate onboarding for all serve team members, ensuring adherence to safety and training protocol as described in our student ministry playbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
