The Valley Hunt Club is seeking for a Bartender. You will contribute to the success of the Valley Hunt Club by creating positive experiences for every member by providing expedient and attentive beverage service. The Service Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to members by preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks in a professional, and friendly manner. This role demands a high level of efficiently clean and organized bar environment, and adherence to all safety and compliance standards.

Essential job functions:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Greet members and guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, shelves, glassware, and equipment.
• Accurately process member charges, checks, and transactions.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage service guidelines.
• Restock bar supplies, spirits, mixers, and garnishes as needed throughout the shift.
• Ensure proper setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service.
• Communicate effectively with team members, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with inventory control and inform management of low stock levels.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Required: Must be 21+ years old
• Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and teamwork
• Required: Work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays. Blackout Dates: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, Month of December.
• Required: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF BARTENDING EXPERIANCE IN A HIGH VOLUME RESTAURANT.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required.
