As an AI Operations & Automation Manager, you will drive the optimization and automation of core operations processes, with a strong focus on finance, HR, and general back-office functions. You will leverage AI, machine learning, and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and maximize operational efficiency across multiple teams. This role blends technical expertise, operational insight, and leadership, giving you the opportunity to influence system design, monitor performance metrics, and implement best-in-class automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Product, and Data teams to ensure seamless data flow, robust reporting, and optimized business processes. The position offers a highly autonomous and fast-paced environment, where your contributions will directly impact company performance and operational excellence.
- Identify, design, and implement automation and AI-driven process improvements across Finance, HR, and Operations workflows.
- Optimize and maintain AI and automation tools, including monitoring, performance enhancements, and tool adoption decisions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align systems with operational policies and maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Support month-end financial close, automate recurring processes, and ensure reliable data extracts, variance analyses, and reporting.
- Manage finance-related tools and integrations (NetSuite OneWorld, Sigma, Spiff, Yokoy, Deel, etc.) while maintaining configuration accuracy and data integrity.
- Lead risk management and proactive system monitoring, ensuring backup, recoverability, and compliance with security audits (ISO27001, SOC2).
- Provide training, documentation, and support for Operations teams, fostering adoption of automation and AI best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Informatics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience in finance, HR/people operations, or operational workflow automation in fast-paced, technology-driven companies.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld and at least one satellite tool (Sigma, Spiff, Yokoy, Deel, etc.) in multi-entity, multi-currency setups.
- Strong technical skills in automation tools, APIs, webhooks, JSON integrations, and scripting (SuiteScript, SQL, Python, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Greenhouse) and workflow automation platforms (N8N, Zapier, Celigo).
- Proven ability to assess, implement, and manage AI and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
