JOB SUMMARY

Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center. Is responsible for Emergency Room, Outpatient and Inpatient admissions, as well as the receipt and dissemination of information to appropriate areas of the hospital. Receives information (i.e., ORSOS, Patient Postings, etc.) and processes the same, where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma Medical terminology is preferred.

• Less than 2 years At least one year working in medical and/or medical insurance areas preferred. Required

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years old to witness patient/guarantor signatures. Interpersonal oral and written skills are necessary to effectively communicate with department personnel, physicians/office staff, supervisors and other hospital departments.
