Here's What You Need

• Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program is required
• 2 years of experience in inpatient/acute care is strongly preferred.
• PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire is required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required

What You Will Do

• Performs age appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care
• Obtains/verifies physician order for therapy and validates for appropriateness
• Sets appropriate, measurable, functional goals with time frames to address the identified problems including patient/family goals and preferences
• Performs age appropriate patient treatment
• Communicates with physicians and other healthcare personnel as appropriate regarding patient care issues
• Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient treatment and individualizes care based on age specific needs
• Demonstrates Professional accountability

Our campus has a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center, and a variety of physician practices. All dedicated to our evolving community health needs. Plus, we have several new and expanded service lines including a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, updated labor and delivery suites, a cardiac catheterization lab, an interventional radiology suite, additional surgery suites plus expanded emergency and intensive care areas.
