Phlebotomist at LifeBridge Health – Randallstown, Maryland

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs phlebotomy procedures under minimal supervision to obtain venous and capillary blood specimens and other non-invasive specimen collection for analysis. Electronically processes phlebotomy test orders and handles specimen labels in order to accurately collect specimens

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hospital Experience
• Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
• 1-3 years of experience
• Phlebotomy Certification or eligible. If eligible, must obtain certification within 1 year
• 1 year pediatric experience required.
• Structured phlebotomy coursework including 40 hours didactic plus at least 80 clinical hours in a laboratory/hospital environment
