• Oversee daily operations of the shop, equipment yard, and tool inventory

• Manage scheduling and maintenance of heavy equipment, vehicles, and small tools

• Track all equipment usage, repairs, and downtime to ensure maximum efficiency

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe yard and shop area

• Coordinate with field supervisors to dispatch and stage equipment for upcoming projects

• Lead and supervise shop personnel, including mechanics and yard staff

• Order parts, supplies, and tools as needed while monitoring inventory levels

• Ensure accurate record-keeping for equipment inspections, certifications, and maintenance logs

• Uphold safety standards and company procedures at all times

• Support logistics and operations to ensure smooth jobsite deliveries and pickups

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in shop, fleet, or equipment management (construction preferred)

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to multitask and lead a small team effectively

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment

• Must be dependable, honest, and proactive in solving problems

• Good communication skills for coordination with field and office teams

• Required: Valid Drivers License
