Position Overview:
The Processing Site Supervisor oversees daily case processing operations within an ICE processing facility. This position is responsible for supervising Case Processing Specialists and Case Processing Aides during assigned shifts, ensuring accurate administrative processing of immigration case documentation, and maintaining operational coordination with facility partners.
Processing Site Supervisors ensure that case processing operations are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with federal requirements. The supervisor coordinates daily workflow, manages staffing assignments, performs quality assurance reviews, and serves as the primary operational point of contact during their assigned shift.
This role reports directly to the Processing Operations Director and works closely with leadership across facility operations, including security, medical, IT, and administrative teams.
Essential Functions:
Shift Leadership & Team Supervision
Supervise Case Processing Specialists and Case Processing Aides during assigned operational shiftsAssign daily responsibilities and manage workload distribution among processing staffMonitor team performance to ensure operational standards and productivity expectations are metProvide direction, coaching, and operational guidance to processing personnelEnsure proper staffing coverage and operational continuity during shiftsAddress operational issues and staff concerns as they ariseCase Processing Operations Oversight
Oversee daily administrative case processing activities conducted by processing staffEnsure case documentation and administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timelinesMonitor case processing workflow to ensure efficient movement of cases through the processing pipelineSupport processing staff by resolving workflow bottlenecks or operational barriersEnsure compliance with all ICE administrative processing procedures and operational protocolsQuality Assurance & Compliance
Conduct routine quality assurance reviews of case documentation and processing activitiesIdentify documentation errors, process gaps, or compliance issues and implement corrective actionsMonitor adherence to established procedures, policies, and operational guidelinesMaintain documentation of quality assurance reviews and operational observationsEscalate significant compliance or operational concerns to the Processing Operations DirectorOperational Coordination
Coordinate with facility partners including security personnel, medical staff, IT support, and other operational teamsFacilitate communication between processing staff and other operational departments within the facilityCoordinate with facility leadership to ensure smooth detainee flow through processing activitiesSupport coordination of operational activities involving multiple departmentsStaffing & Schedule Management
Develop and manage shift schedules for Case Processing Specialists and Case Processing AidesEnsure appropriate staffing coverage to meet operational requirementsMonitor attendance, shift coverage, and workforce availabilityCoordinate staffing adjustments in response to operational needsTraining & Staff Development
Support onboarding and training of new processing staffReinforce operational procedures and documentation standards with team membersCoordinate with training personnel to ensure staff receive required operational trainingProvide ongoing performance feedback and mentorship to processing staffCommunication & Reporting
Provide operational updates and shift reports to the Processing Operations DirectorDocument significant operational events, workflow challenges, or staffing issuesCommunicate operational priorities and updates to processing staffParticipate in leadership meetings and operational briefings as requiredKnowledge and Skills

Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for educationMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in administrative operations, case processing, or government program supportPrior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferredExperience working in government operations, detention environments, legal administration, or immigration programs preferredExperience with case management systems or administrative documentation processes preferredBilingual English-Spanish preferredMust be a U.S. citizen to comply with federal contract requirementsRequirements of Employment

Fully onsite position within an ICE processing facility in MarylandWork schedules include 24/7 coverage, and may include shifts on overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays.Standard administrative office and processing facility environmentMay involve extended periods of computer work and documentation processingFast-paced operational environment requiring attention to detail and professionalismPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods while conducting data entry and interviewsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during facility operations (up to 8-12 hours per shift)Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies and equipment up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motionsCapability to work in varied environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, temperature variations)Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations throughout the facilityVisual acuity for detailed computer work and document reviewAuditory ability to conduct interviews and monitor facility for safety concernsOther Duties & Information:
