CNC Machine operator -2nd shift at Schivo Medical – Plainview, New York

Shift hours:4pm to 1:30am

CNC Machine Operator Position Overview:

Operate CNC Machine Operator and inspect finished parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)Change tools.Make offsets.Load material and remove scrap.Fill out various paperwork.Simultaneous operation of multiple machinesMinor troubleshootingPart inspection

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

2/4 years’ experience with lathe/mill turning machines.Experience using the Fanuc control preferred. Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols).Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.)Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication skills and positive can-do attitudeMust be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.mechanically inclined Career oriented
