About the Role:

Wick Buildings is seeking hardworking and reliable Construction Crew Members to join our team in the Odessa, Marshall, and Hamilton, Missouri areas. If you are comfortable with tools, safety, and teamwork, we may have an opportunity for you.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety procedures.
• Valid work authorization for the job location.
• Strong commitment to following OSHA-approved and Wick-approved safety standards and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or related manual labor roles.
• Certification in OSHA safety training or equivalent is a plus
• Ability to operate basic construction machinery or power tools.
• experience with Post Frame construction
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
• Assist in the assembly, installation, and repair of structural components according to project plans and specifications.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other crew members to coordinate daily tasks and resolve any on-site issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner to promote efficiency and safety.

Skills:

The required skills, such as physical stamina and knowledge of construction safety, are essential for performing daily tasks safely and effectively. Candidates will use their understanding of construction tools and materials to assist in building and repair activities, ensuring quality workmanship. Preferred skills, such as blueprint reading and equipment operation, enhance the ability to contribute more independently and efficiently to complex projects. Communication and teamwork skills are critical for meeting project timelines. Overall, these skills combine to support a productive, safe, and collaborative work environment.
