This internship plays a hands-on role in supporting that mission—helping transform data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions and enhance overall organizational performance.

Nature and Scope

This is a part-time summer internship for college students, working up to 20 hours per week based on business needs.

Interns will gain exposure to the fundamentals of data analytics within a financial services environment—including data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization. They’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain visibility into how data-driven insights support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization.

This internship is designed to build foundational analytical skills while also developing professional skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Interns will also gain insight into how Data Analytics partners with other departments to drive business outcomes and improve the member experience.

Specific Accountabilities

· Support the Data Analytics team with day-to-day operational and project-based activities

· Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis

· Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations

· Participate in initiatives that leverage data to improve processes and outcomes

· Collaborate with other departments to understand data needs and support decision-making

· Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

This role is best suited for students with an interest in data analytics, statistics, business analytics, or related fields, particularly within a financial services environment.

Preferred qualifications include:

· Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills

· Interest in data analysis, reporting, and visualization

· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

· Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn

Additional Requirements

• Interns will need to comply with work authorization requirements.
