Duties and Responsibilities

Medical Assistants play a critical role in patient care and daily operations. They rely on technical skills to use medical equipment properly, must be detail-oriented when entering patient data, and possess strong interpersonal skills to ensure a positive patient experience.

Medical Assistants may perform the following duties:

  • Obtain blood samples
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Clean and prepare exam rooms
  • Administer immunizations
  • Schedule patient appointments

Skills and Qualifications

An ideal Medical Assistant candidate will have the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, even in stressful situations. They should be proficient in basic computer skills, familiar with medical terminology and pharmacology, and possess strong analytical skills to interpret medical charts and diagnoses.

Qualified candidates should have the following:

  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • A high level of professionalism

Schedule Requirements:

  • Full-Time Position (40 hours/week)
  • Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
