As an HR Coordinator in our Human Resources function supporting the Spine Division, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers—efficiently handling payroll, benefits administration, HR transactions, and employee inquiries to ensure smooth operations and a positive employee experience in our fast-paced medical device environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide frontline HR services including processing payroll changes, benefits enrollments/deductions, life event updates, and other employee transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as the primary responder to employee and manager questions regarding payroll, benefits, leave policies, HR programs, and general employment matters
- Administer and support key HR programs such as onboarding/offboarding, benefits open enrollment, leave of absence tracking, and compliance-related processes
- Establish, follow, and continuously improve standards, procedures, and workflows for handling employee inquiries, transactions, and HR service center operations
- Utilize HRIS and payroll systems to enter, verify, and maintain employee data; ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times
- Coordinate with payroll, benefits vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, process adjustments, and ensure accurate reporting
- Support efficiency of service center operations through technology utilization, process documentation, and transaction accuracy
- Prepare and distribute standard HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies, federal/state regulations, and internal controls related to HR transactions
- Assist with special projects, audits, and HR initiatives as directed by leadership
What You Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in human resources, payroll processing, benefits administration, or a related administrative/support role
- Basic to solid understanding of HR processes, payroll cycles, benefits programs, and employment regulations (e.g., FMLA, COBRA, ACA)
- Experience working with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, ADP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, procedure-driven environment
- Excellent customer service orientation with clear verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and follow well-defined procedures and guidelines
- Proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous process improvement

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, location, and market conditions.
