About the Role:
- Oversees multiple sites and multiple providers which may include a service line or different specialties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors patient flow and daily operations through two or more practices to ensure appropriate utilization of physician time and staff coverage.
- Ensures compliance with all governing bodies (OSHA, OIG, CMS, DOH).
- Monitors or reviews patient registration and data entry into the system for timeliness, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Develops special workload reports to adjust staffing levels as necessary.
- Approves time cards and ensures payroll is complete by Monday.
- Reviews charges, visit encounters, and cash receipts for variations and patterns.
- Conducts spot audits to ensure regulatory compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures that the practice staff follows all receivable/collection guidelines.
- Provides physician and staff training as required.
- Ensures patient satisfaction.
- Conducts patient surveys and questionnaires for customer service.
- Handles patient complaints.
- Ensures lines of communication open between practice staff and administration.
- Ensures high employee morale and a professional, effective, and efficient working atmosphere.
- Monitors purchases for each practice.
- Plans a corrective strategy when order levels are excessive in volume or cost.
- Prepares check requests and codes invoices, sends to administration or Accounts Payable in a timely fashion. Evaluates, counsels, disciplines and/or recommends termination of employees as required.
- Ensures compliance with and knowledge of the company's Code of Conduct by all subordinates to ensure an ethical work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Office Manager will support all satellite offices (currently Westminster, Lutherville, and Ellicott City). Could travel to multiple offices within one day.
- Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of related experience
Salary range $67K to $73K dependent on experience and internal equity.
