Precertification Specialist at Goshen Health – Goshen, Indiana

Reporting to the Manager of the Center for Cancer Care (CCC), the Cancer Services Precertification Specialist will be responsible for the insurance pre-certification and coordination with billing. This position will be responsible for general business office duties as assigned related to business office policy and procedures.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education

• High school graduate or the equivalent. 2 years related college studies or equivalent work experience in hospital setting.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum for three years medical insurance verification experience. Working knowledge of CPT/ICD9 coding and medical terminology.
