ABOUT SWEET TOOTH HOTEL
Sweet Tooth Hotel presents immersive art installations by emerging local and national artists. artists and a curated selection of products and art to purchase in the gift shop. The Sweet Tooth Hotel is a 5,000 sq. ft. experiential art and retail venue in Allen, TX, with more locations to open in 2022. Created by husband-and-wife Cole and Jencey Keeton, the first installation of Sweet Tooth Hotel delivered five sugar-themed rooms based on popular treats. Ongoing chapters of Sweet Tooth Hotel will reveal new themes and concepts for guests to explore yearly.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Sweet Tooth Hotel is looking for art lovers and anyone who loves people, loves to talk, and loves to engage to be a Guest Experience Specialist. You must have no fear of strangers. You must love to entertain and put smiles on people's faces. You must be capable of supercharging a group of strangers and creating a magical experience for them while upholding our safety standards and guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent the Sweet Tooth Hotel with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Engage and entertain visitors. Offer a positive experience by educating guests on the art installations.
- Monitor the quality and cleanliness of art installations according to our guidelines. Clean and disinfect all work areas.
- Check guests in at the front desk and sell tickets when needed.
- Monitor the gift shop, help guests, and sell products.
- Help managers open and close art exhibits.
- Think on your feet; can improv.
- Ability to work cooperatively and independently as part of a team.
- Upbeat, energetic, positive personality!!
- Positively enforce visitor safety guidelines.
- Opportunity to work bartender shifts when other locations open.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years or older
- Natural-born entertainers with a passion for making people smile
- Must have a genuine love and ability to talk with strangers, young and old
- Ability to work as part of a professional on a team
- Excellent verbal communication
- High energy, self-managing, and self-starter personality
- Adept at managing multiple tasks
- Strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced, out-of-the-box environment
- TABC certified (if desiring to work bartender shifts)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the Guide must be able to do the following: stand for extended periods; bend and reach for job-related functions; climb up and down stairs; bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials; pull, push, and lift; reach both above and below shoulder height; multiple dexterity.
Requirements:This is a part time position with required weekend availability to be considered, pay rate is $12-15/hr.
