Medical Assistant - BR Cardiovascular Clinic at Baxter Health – Mountain Home, Arkansas

SUMMARY: Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a provider, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing and coding information for insurance purposes, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, and preparing patients for examination.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ related work experience preferred. Previous medical office experience preferred.

Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.

Preferred Education: Certified Nurse Assistant

Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs.
