Available Shifts

  • 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Wed/Thur/Fri - Sun/Thur/Fri
  • 7:00 pm - 7 am Mon/Fri/Sat - Mon/Wed/Fri

Duties:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and oxygen saturation
  • Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury and promote comfort
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or physical appearance to nursing staff
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
  • Assist with medical procedures as directed by nursing staff
  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times
  • Accurately document care provided according to facility protocols
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests

Requirements:

  • CNA certification in good standing with NJ Board of Nursing.
  • A desire to excel and grow as a healthcare professional.
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in memory care, hospice care, or medical-surgical environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards is essential.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (preferred)
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed
  • Time management and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

  • Requires standing for long periods, lifting patients, and working weekends, holidays, or night shifts
  • Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment.

Work Environment

  • Healthcare setting with potential exposure to infectious diseases.
  • Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
