Job Summary:

The KwikShip Warehouse Assistant Team Lead supports daily warehouse execution by assisting with floor coordination, workflow support, training reinforcement, and team communication. This role helps ensure warehouse tasks are completed accurately and efficiently while serving as a dependable support resource to both team members and management.

This position is a hands-on operational role that helps bridge communication, maintain momentum on the floor, and support consistent performance throughout the shift.


Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with coordinating daily warehouse activity based on operational priorities and workflow needs.

· Help support team members in receiving, product handling, picking, packing, staging, and shipping support functions.

· Reinforce instructions, standards, and work expectations communicated by management or the team lead.

· Help train new employees and support cross-training in warehouse processes.

· Monitor work areas for organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.

· Escalate workflow issues, inventory concerns, or team needs to warehouse leadership.

· Step in to help resolve minor operational issues and maintain pace throughout the shift.

· Perform warehouse associate duties as needed while supporting team coordination.

Requirements: Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· 1+ year of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or logistics experience preferred.

· Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and ability to support others in a team environment.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation

· Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory systems, handheld scanners, or warehouse management software

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.

Preferred:

· Experience in eCommerce fulfillment or warehouse operations.

· Experience assisting with training, shift coordination, or workflow support.

· Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
