You will serve as a vital technical expert ensuring the operational readiness and safety of a diverse commercial fleet and heavy equipment. How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, air brakes, and hydraulic systems to minimize equipment downtime.

• Maintain a rigorous preventive maintenance schedule for all trucks and heavy machinery to ensure peak operational efficiency.

• Inspect critical safety components including steering and wheel systems to uphold the highest standards of fleet safety.

• Document all repair actions, inspections, and parts usage accurately to maintain transparent maintenance records.

• Resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently to keep projects moving forward without delay.

• Coordinate with the shop manager and dispatch teams to prioritize urgent repairs based on field necessity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in the professional repair and maintenance of diesel engines and commercial trucks.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot air brake systems, electrical circuits, and engine diagnostics.

• Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• Possession of reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance for the day shift.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) for testing and moving heavy equipment.

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems, including valves, solenoids, and PPC valves.

• Technical experience with track systems, aftertreatment diagnostics, or HVAC systems.

• Familiarity with digital fleet maintenance systems and inventory reporting software.
