The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to join our hardworking and dedicated team, working on an equal time 7-on / 7-off roster supervising our team across the Bowen Basin region. This role is Moranbah based with FIFO or DIDO options, with accommodation provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support field operations, allocating resources and coordinating logistics, scheduling, and equipment readiness.
• Provide hands-on leadership across installation, servicing, and repair of fluid transfer systems while maintaining high workmanship standards and minimal client downtime.
• Allocate work to technicians based on skills and job requirements, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed installations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure workmanship standards are consistently met.
• Train and mentor fitters in technical procedures, safe work practices, and professional client engagement.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for clients, resolving issues and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and reliable service.
• Monitor and report on job progress, team performance, and operational risks.
• Ensure accurate completion of service reports, client sign-offs, and job documentation.
• Champion Hoses24’s safety and environmental procedures across all job sites.
• Lead daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to promote a strong safety culture within the team.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced service environment with:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fluid transfer, hydraulics, industrial services, or related field.
• Proven experience supervising in blue-collar or trade-based teams, ideally within mining, industrial, or a field service setting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify issues, analyse root causes, and propose effective solutions to address challenges or obstacles
• Commitment to safety leadership and adherence to site procedures and compliance standards.
• The ability to lead from the front- mentoring your team, solving problems under pressure, and driving operational performance in the field.
• Valid Manual MR/HR Driver's Licence (or willing to obtain).
• Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willing to obtain).
