About This Position
Serves as a strategic partner and liaison to both the EVP, Physician-In-Chief, and the Chief Operating Officer (COO), jointly advancing their clinical and operational priorities for the MoffittCare portfolio of strategic initiatives. This independent contributor role translates strategic vision into coordinated operational action, facilitates alignment across departments, and supports high-impact initiatives. The position works closely with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Team and Executive Leadership to ensure progress on strategic goals, acting as a connector between clinical, research, and operational domains.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Healthcare, Project Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Minimum Experience Required
7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, clinical operations, or enterprise portfolio management.
Demonstrated experience supporting or advising senior executives in a healthcare or academic medical center setting.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
Experience working with clinical data, informatics, or analytics platforms.

Preferred Experience
- 10+ years in a leadership or advisory role within a complex healthcare organization.
- Experience bridging clinical, research, and operational environments.
- Prior experience in a strategic advisor or enterprise program director role.
- Experience using robust PPM tools (e.g. Planview, Clarity) for resource, schedule and budget management.
- Knowledge and experience leading initiatives involving hospital operational processes
- Knowledge of financial and accounting practices related to project management, ideally in a healthcare and/or nonprofit setting.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic), clinical data governance, and real-world evidence initiatives.
- Experience with strategic planning, business development, or market analysis in oncology or academic medicine.
Preferred Skills/Specialized Training
- Experience in academic medical centers, oncology programs, or clinical research environments.
- Familiarity with clinical leadership structures and departmental organization.
- Prior involvement in board-level communications or executive support.
- Exposure to innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in healthcare or life sciences.
- Experience with project portfolio management software and process mapping tools.
- Certified Prosci Change Practitioner, Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, PMI Program/Portfolio Management certifications.
